We headed off to Stowe recently with our newly acquired National Trust cards burning a hole in our pockets as we had been promised 'carpets' of snowdrops. I can't say we saw 'carpets' of the things, more carpet tiles and the odd small rug, however it was a lovely walk around the grounds and the dog loved it.
