I decided to cook some Mexican food a few weeks ago. I have never tried it before so it was rather a leap of faith all round. I made:
Guacemole
Quesadillas
A rather spicy Chilli con carne
Stir-fried corn with chilli, ginger, garlic and parsley
Margarita-soaked watermelon slices
Rice
Two friends brought two rather splendid chocolate desserts and another one brought some salsa.
Mark was charge in charge of alcohol and decorations. He made some rather splendid Margaritas courtesy of a fabulous recipe from my friend Lisa. And the decorations were pretty good too.
