When I got back from London this week (dad's birthday - more anon) snow had fallen. While I was not exactly ecstatic about it, it did give me the opportunity to try out the snow tyres I had put on the car at vast expense. Admittedly it was only on the driveway but I do feel that I got some benefit out of them. The following morning it had not melted so inspired by my faithful reader's beautiful photos of icicles in France I took the pooch out for a walk and took my camera along. Not quite icicles but jolly pretty.
The river is not frozen but temperatures are set to drop this weekend so it's possible.
The woods are looking lovely with a light dusting of icing sugar snow.
And obviously snow is Ollie's 'Favourite Thing' right now :-) - unless there is a treat anywhere in the surrounding area!
And the gaff is looking pretty good at the moment too :-)).

What a completely gorgeous gaff!! I'm sure you haven't posted a "full length portrait" of it before, or I'd remember. Of course, it just looks extra lovely with a bit of icing sugar on it!
ReplyDeleteNext to His Cutenificence, the photo peeping through the big trees is my fave. Lovely!
We've had snow here today, too, but it doesn't look as if it's going to stay.
