Dyvig

Our latest trip in Denmark took us to the south, Nordborg to be precise.  We went to a village called Dyvig and stayed at the Dyvig Badehotel; it came highly recommended by one of Mark's colleagues.  It is in a beautiful location and the food was marvelous.

It is located in a small nature harbour and there were loads of yachts moored just outside.

We checked out the Medieval Fair at the local castle, Nordborg Castle.

and were treated to:

a Medieval boy band,

battling with large cotton buds,

jousting - sort of,

and locals in authentic Medieval dress - complete with ye olde mobile!

We also checked out the local beach:

One of us had a particularly fabulous weekend :-)

  1. Only you could go south to Nordborg ;-)

It looks like it's made out of Lego. Very pretty!

Not sure about Takke Thatte, though!!
