I had a very nice day today. I woke up late this morning; couldn't get to sleep last night so ended up watching all sorts of rubbish on you tube. Got up, had a coffee and spent the morning reading the newspapers and doing the crosswords. Haven't had time to do that since I don't know when.
The main projects on the go at the moment is organising the housewarming party and acquiring a doglet. More on the second project later. The first project is going well on account of the fact that I have sub-contracted much of the work out to another party. We are having a Ceilidh (or kedlid as Mark calls it). We haven't really broadcast this to all and sundry, just a few selected folks who have been roped in for dance practise (see previous titles <g>). Chic MacLean and the Islanders will be providing the music; or to be more accurate Chic MacLean and the Islander. The Islanders total nine in number and as there is a strong possibility the Islanders may out-number the guests we have gone for the pared down version. Apparently, Chic and crew are a big thing up here. I may have mentioned this before. Anyway, he is on for providing musical entertainment so all I have to do is organise transport for the those vehically challenged or want to get lashed.
Tomorrow we are off to Flensburg (Flensborg??) to stock up on alcohol. Apparently alcohol is cheaper in Germany. As Germany, or more specifically the German border, is only about 90 minutes away this is a realistic option. Wonder if Germany has mug-trees?

Okay, shut up about the mug trees.
ReplyDeleteWhy can't you hang them on the dinosaur?
Because he is not a useful dinosaur, he is purely for decoration purposes
ReplyDeleteThe only thing worse than a dinosaur is a useless dinosaur....... I will resist the temptation to add "Reader, I married him." Well, almost resist....
