I have noticed that there is a tendency for the men up here to wear 3/4 trousers! Often with sandals and no socks. I find this quite odd. I haven't noticed this fashion statement among the women.
In France the habit appears to be for men to wear the trousers of a much taller chum. You're nobody without 6 inches (sorry, a few centimetres) of trouser leg concertina'd round each ankle!
Don't even get me started on the "comedy trousers" favoured by the fairer sex. Imagine the combination of a genie's harem pants and a child's overfilled nappy and you'll get the general idea!!
Danes generally are pretty tall, but up here they tend to be more stocky and sturdy; it's largely farming country in this area. I can't say I have seen any 'conertina' style trousers but now you've mentioned it I will be on the look out :-)
Are Danes tall?
